Inspired by rocker dad Bill Henderson, Saffron Henderson went pro at age seven, tap dancing in rest homes and bringing joy to children as the back end of a reindeer at Breakfast With Santa. These humble beginnings led to singing and dancing in theatres, nightclubs, on overseas tours, and to principal roles on film and TV, ultimately landing her in the most womb-like place she could find...the studio. There, Saffron has built a solid commercial voiceover and jingle career, as well as voicing countless cartoon characters. Animation roles paved the way to voicing characters on video games including The Sopranos, Everquest, Spongebob and Bratz, among others.
Saffron's complimentary careers of singing and voice-over artist have created a successful co-existence. She can be heard on albums by everyone from Tom Cochrane to Raffi, and has appeared onstage with musical greats like Ray Charles, David Foster and Lionel Richie. Saffron has placed her original music in TV series, MOW's and feature films such as Melrose Place and Varsity Blues, and has performed her songs at many high-profile events including Sarah MacLachlan's Lilith Fair.
Saffron Henderson - singer, song-writer, voice-over performer - continues to balance her time between the studio and the stage, where she enjoys the company of the country's finest voice-over actors and musicians, including her dad Bill and her sister Camille.
